The Tri Deltas of the Theta Zeta chapter are active in a number of organizations at the University of Texas outside of Tri Delta. As a chapter we have teams that play intramural sports against other UT organizations, such as volleyball, flag football, soccer, softball, and basketball. We are proud to say we have been the champions in flag football for 2 years and hope to keep the streak going!
Outside of the chapter, Tri Deltas are also involved in religious clubs, such as YoungLife, Wyldlife, STUMO, and Austin Stone College Ministry. YoungLife and Wyldlife are centered around spreading the gospel to kids in the Austin area by holding fellowship after school at local middle schools and high schools. STUMO and Austin Stone College Ministry are centered around spreading the word throughout the college community. The Theta Zetas in these organizations host late night bible studies and worship for all college students.
We also have numerous members of our chapter involved in academic and philanthropic organizations on campus. Some of these are, the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Christians in Business, the UT Debate Team, American Marketing Association, Texas Analysts Association, School of Human Ecology Ambassadors, Communication Council, Student Government, Texas Tower PR Firm, and Public Relations Student Society of America.
The Tri Deltas of Theta Zeta value their academics. We have members in various honors organizations, such as Liberal Arts Honors, Alpha Epsilon Delta Honor Society, Psi Chi Honor Society, Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society, Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society, Honors Business Association, and Health Science Scholars.
Other organizations our chapter members are involved in are, Texas Pom and Cheer, University Leadership Network, the Ransom Notes, Texas Sports Communication Group, University Fashion Group, Texas Wake, The Daily Texan, Global Medical Training and Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children.
As Theta Zetas we pride ourselves on a well-rounded chapter with a diversity of personalities and experiences! It is hard to find an organization that one of our members is not a part of, and it is this medley of interests that makes our chapter so unique.
