The Theta Zeta chapter at The University of Texas at Austin has had a long-standing tradition of passion and care for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In the 2016-2017 school year, our chapter raised over $159,000 for St. Jude and was named the Top Fundraising Chapter in Texas.
This past 2017-2018 school year, our chapter was named Chapter of the Year for the category of national Tri Delta chapters with more than 150 members. This award recognizes the top Tri Delta chapter that had the best well-rounded support of St. Jude throughout the year including fundraising events, chapter education activities, campus and community awareness efforts, and dollars raised. We are so honored and grateful to receive this recognition.
This upcoming 2018-2019 school year, we plan to raise even more money for St. Jude! We will do this through a number of successful philanthropy events, including our annual Courtyard Cookout, the Sincerely, Yours Letter Writing Campaign and our Fall Parents Weekend Silent Auction. We are so thankful to the philanthropy team, parents, donors, businesses, and everyone else that always make our events a success for the St. Jude community.
